1. Introduction

At KalkiOrion Robotics Labs, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our robotics kits, courses, workshops, and services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and returns are processed. By purchasing or enrolling in any of our products or services, you agree to the terms set forth herein.

2. Definitions

• “Kit” refers to any physical robotics hardware kit, components, or accessories purchased from our website or through partner channels.
• “Course” refers to any online or offline training program, including but not limited to Robotics Mastery, Python & AI, and other skill‑based courses.
• “Workshop” refers to one‑time or short‑term events, seminars, or hands‑on sessions conducted by KalkiOrion.
• “School License” refers to the annual licensing agreement for schools and institutions to use our curriculum, platform, and training resources.
• “Digital Product” includes downloadable content, e‑certificates, PDF syllabi, and any non‑tangible educational material.

3. Cancellation & Refund for Robotics Kits

• Unopened Kits: You may return an unopened kit within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
• Opened or Used Kits: Kits that have been opened or show signs of use are not eligible for refund. If the kit is defective, it will be replaced under warranty (see Section 7).
• Refund Process: After we receive and inspect the returned kit, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 7‑10 business days to the original payment method.

4. Refund for Courses & Workshops

• Cancellation before start:
  • If you cancel 7 or more days before the scheduled start date, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • If you cancel 3‑6 days before the start date, a 50% refund will be issued.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the start date or after the program has commenced are non‑refundable.
• No refunds for partially attended or completed courses/workshops.
• Course transfers may be permitted on a case‑by‑case basis; please contact us to discuss.

5. Refund for Annual School Licenses

• Before activation: If you cancel the license agreement before any access has been granted, a full refund minus a nominal administrative fee (10% of the license fee) will be issued.
• After activation: Once the license has been activated (i.e., login credentials issued, teacher training delivered, or curriculum accessed), the license fee is non‑refundable.
• Renewals: Renewal payments are non‑refundable.

6. Non‑Refundable Items

The following are not refundable under any circumstances:

• Digital products (e.g., downloadable PDFs, e‑certificates).
• Customized orders or kits specially assembled for a school.
• Registration fees for competitions or events that have already taken place.
• Any service already rendered, such as completed training sessions or consultations.

7. Defective Products & Warranty

If your robotics kit arrives with damaged or non‑working components, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will replace the defective parts free of charge. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.
